“FOLLOWING THE GREAT WHITE SHARK”

Gansbaai – Today, April 7th , 2011, departure from 6.15 a.m. from Saxon Lodge to “Eagle Reserve” which is a natural oasis 200 km far from Cape Town.

Arrival at about 9.00 a.m. and tour in the park must-see, even for the courtesy of staff.

We left from there to Cape Town at 12.15 a.m. arriving at 2.30 p.m. and, as tradition of all the earlier expeitions, lunch of shrimp and squid at the restaurant in the area of port.

Then visit to the Aquarium “Two Oceans” in Cape Town and shopping malls of the city.

We returned to the Saxon Lodge at 8.30 p.m., but unfortunately we could not get in touch with the managing editor of Oltrepensiero.it, but surely tomorrow night we will recorde the video conference with Primo Micarelli.

I anticipate the program of tomorrow Friday, April 8th :
– 9.00 a.m. lecture by Emilio Sperone on the retention.
– 11.00 a.m. start with the Mike’s “Barracuda” for identifications in the sea. We will leave late because of heavy sea, and because up to this hour, the weather conditions were not propitious. This, at least as suggested by the weather reports in the area.
– Return planned not erlier than 5.00 p.m. then we’ll start working for Oltrepensiero.it too ” (Daniele Giglioli)
